What are low friction golf tees?
Low friction golf tees are designed to reduce contact between the tee and golf ball at impact. Zero Gravi-Tees use a Split-Cup, Forward Lean, and Strike-Fin to help move the tee away as the driver reaches the ball.
What makes Zero Gravi-Tees different from traditional golf tees?
A regular tee holds the ball in one solid cup, so the tee is still pressed against the ball at the moment your club arrives. Zero Gravi-Tees rest the ball on two cups and add a Strike-Fin that your club hits first, so the tee starts moving clear before the ball leaves. That is what the patented Strike-Fin is built to do.
Are Zero Gravi-Tees golf tees for drivers?
Yes. The Player model is designed for driver shots from grass tee boxes during recreational play. Use your current driver. Push the tee in at a 35 to 45° angle toward the fairway, and balance the ball on the two cups, not the fin.
How do I set the tee height for my driver?
The first time, set a ball on your old tee next to the Zero Gravi-Tee and match that height. Push the tee in at a 35 to 45° angle toward the fairway. Balance the ball on the two cups, not the fin. Use them on grass only, not mats or very hard ground.
Can low friction golf tees help with driving distance?
Our published Golf Laboratories robot test recorded 13.7 yards more carry and 15.6 yards more total distance. Those are results from that test, not a promise for every golfer. Your swing, strike, equipment, and playing conditions affect distance.
Are these durable, reusable plastic golf tees?
Yes — one tee is built to last you round after round. Our founder has played the same one for two years. Set it at a 35 to 45° angle so your club hits the fin a split second before the ball. That's how the tee gets out of the way. Hitting the top of the tee can break it. Keep them on grass tee boxes and away from mats, simulator mats, and very hard ground, and they hold up well.
Can I use Zero Gravi-Tees on simulator or driving range mats?
Save these for the grass. They are made to be pressed into turf at an angle, so mats, simulator mats, and very hard ground will break them. On a normal grass tee box one tee lasts round after round — that is where they are at their best.
How many golf tees are in a Player pack?

Are Zero Gravi-Tees legal for tournament play?
No. Zero Gravi-Tees Player — the tee that's shipping now — is built for recreational play, not tournament or sanctioned competition. Two more models, Tour and Pro, are coming soon; neither is available yet.
What if they’re not for me? (30-day returns)
Pull one tee from the pack and take it out for 3 rounds — or as many as you can fit in 30 days, range sessions included. If they’re not for you, email office@graavee.com within 30 days of delivery and tell us. All we ask is that the tee you tried is the only one used — pop it back in the pack with the other four and hang on to your receipt. Once it checks out we email you a prepaid label, so sending it back costs you nothing. The full return policy has the fine print.
